    在现代工作中，人们需要不断提高各种技能。在学校教育中应采用多学科的教与学方法来解决这一问题。STEAM是包含艺术的STEM，包括:科学，技术，工程，艺术，数学。这种新方法包括什么?为什么它很重要?如何衡量它的有效性?在讲座中，将讨论这些问题以及其他问题。 

      In the modern world of work, people are expected to develop an ever-increasing range of skills. This should be addressed in school education using multi-disciplinary approaches to Teaching and Learning. STEAM is STEM with Arts included: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics. What does this new approach involve? Why is it important? How can its usefulness be measured? In this lecture I shall address these and other questions.
