Dr. William R. Davie earned his Ph.D. at the UniversityofTexasatAustin. Prior to his tenure at UL- Lafayette, Dr. Davie taught atTexasChristianUniversity,TexasA&MUniversityandMcNeeseStateUniversity. Dr. Davie is a professor with full honors and sequence coordinator of the Mass Communication/Broadcast for the Dept. of Communication,UniversityofLouisianaatLafayette. Dr. Davie is the recipient of research and teaching awards, he received Edward L. Bliss Award as the nation’s distinguished educator in broadcast journalism in this year. He now holds the Board of Regents Support Fund Professorship in Communication atUniversityofLouisianaatLafayette.
